In Oregon, K&D provides Traffic Control Services throughout southwestern Washington, western Oregon, and the Oregon coast. Major cities we service include but are not limited to: Vancouver (WA), Portland, Salem, Eugene, Medford, Beaverton, Gresham, Lincoln City, and Newport. Our services include: Providing professional certified traffic management specialists, flaggers, traffic control supervisors, traffic control plans, signs and equipment for road and highway work zones.
Minimum Flagger Qualifications
- Be able to pass a criminal background check
- Be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening
- A current flagger certification card for Oregon state (We offer classes)
- A valid driver’s license
- Reliable transportation
- Being able to perform the functions and meet the physical requirements of the flagger position to include:
- Standing on cement for extended periods of time, possibly as much as 8-
12 hours per day.
- Ability to work in all weather elements, including exposure to hot and
cold temperatures.
- Ability to bend at the waist, stoop, squat, and bend at the knees as required on a
regular basis.
- Ability to see and differentiate colors
- Ability to reach above your head and have full upper body mobility.
- Able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs
- An ability to communicate quickly and effectively with other team members.
- Be able to control a signaling device (Paddle) in adverse weather
- Must be able to receive and carry out specific instructions

There is no experience necessary as K&D Services Inc. will provide the necessary training opportunities for motivated and hardworking individuals.
